Dr Suzanne Nunn

Veterinarian

Suzanne emigrated from NZ as a new graduate to take up a position in a Small Animal Veterinary Hospital and has remained in Melbourne ever since.

Through the years Suzanne has always enjoyed developing close relationships with clients and their pets, and loves looking after their needs, right through from junior to senior years.

She particularly enjoys diagnosing and treating sick cats and dogs. This led her to train and gain entrance into the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, in the field of Small Animal Internal Medicine.

With her love of study, and keeping up with the latest research, it is no wonder that Suzanne is also passionate about education and is currently helping veterinary nursing students obtain their qualifications at the Box Hill Institute of TAFE.

In addition, she mentors other veterinarians both through the College and the Australian Veterinary Association.

Suzanne enjoys spending time with her husband Ken and their Maine Coon kitten ‘Namiri’ (Swahili for ‘big cats’).

A large part of her life is also spent with her Kiwi family, having convinced them to join her in Melbourne, as well as her church family. In her spare time, if she is not at Pilates, she can be found at a Park Run or swimming laps.
