Veterinarians

Dr Victoria Harrington

Dr Victoria grew up in East Ivanhoe and attended Our Lady of Mercy College. After graduation in 1998 Victoria completed a bachelors degree in Biomedical Science at Monash University before completing her Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree at the University of Sydney in 2007. Dr Victoria has worked in emergency and general practice since returning to Melbourne and took over the running of the Ivanhoe Veterinary Clinic in Late 2014.

Dr Suzanne Leibel

Dr Suzanne achieved a first class honours degree in genetics and zoology from La Trobe University in 1999. After a stint in human research at the University of London she went on to complete her veterinary science degree with first class honours in 2007 at the University of Sydney.

Dr Samantha Crane

Samantha graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 and has a keen interest in surgery. After graduating and working in small animal practice in Melbourne following graduation. Samantha is a highly competent and personable veterinarian and has a genuine care and compassion for all of her patients.

Dr Laura Stone-Wigg

Laura is originally from Ireland and graduated from University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest in Hungary 2016. Since graduation Laura has worked in small animal clinics in Leeds, UK Laura before joining the Ivanhoe Vet Clinic in 2021.

Dr Suzanne Nunn

Suzanne emigrated from NZ as a new graduate to take up a position in a Small Animal Veterinary Hospital and has remained in Melbourne ever since. Through the years Suzanne has always enjoyed developing close relationships with clients and their pets, and loves looking after their needs, right through from junior to senior years.

Dr Jessica Coates

Dr Jessica graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Honours in 2013. In 2019, Jess completed her certification in veterinary acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, a leading global organisation in veterinary acupuncture.

Nurses

Jacinta

Jacinta joined the Ivanhoe Veterinary Clinic team in 2017. She has been working as a veterinary nurse since 2012 and has grown up with many different animals including cats, guinea pigs, birds, mice and lizards

Stefan

Stefan completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Box Hill TAFE. Stefan has a genuine affection for our patients and is particularly good at caring for any inpatients that we may have hospitalised throughout the day.

Georgie

Georgie has been working as a Veterinary Nurse since 2013 and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. She completed a Bachelor of Arts/Science majoring in zoology and psychology at Monash University in 2008 and then went on to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at the Box Hill Institute.

Ana

Ana started working at Ivanhoe Veterinary Clinic in late 2021. She has volunteered for over 4 years at an animal shelter in Victoria and has in-depth experience dealing with animals that have been neglected and hurt throughout their lives.
